His first name, Axle, and his first crew, FUK, came from that day.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat followed was three decades lived at the edge, coming up through San Diego Vandals and MDR crews, running in the KAW era circles alongside Relm, Skan, and Resq, and surviving addiction, incarceration, and a near fatal overdose that left him temporarily paralyzed in 2019. He taught himself to walk again. He’s been sober seven years.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGraffiti was the one constant.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThrough every collapse and every comeback, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003ePobre\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e kept a style running, on walls, in blackbooks, in his head when there was nothing else.
