"Although this piece was originally made for an art show for the (former) Montana paint store near Chicago, it was inspired by the box trucks with graffiti on them that I had seen in San Francisco. Their instructions were to paint on Montana can boxes. So I made mine into a box truck and painted on it. The wheels are made from the spraypaint can lids. I updated the top of the truck for this show with a new message that also happens to be one of Chicago's area codes." - Kat 9
