Still Hear
"Raised in sterile New England suburbs, discovering punk as a means to escape, struggling with anxiety, depression, and suicidality, and years spent working within the mental health system, my experiences inform the themes of my work - ennui, alienation, and a smiling nod towards the gallows. The art I create is intended to sublimate the darkness. The words and phrases I include are both personal, and also speak to the shared feelings of hopelessness and non-belonging of our atomized and apocalyptic Western World. By using my experiences as an impetus for creativity and sharing, my art is personally therapeutic at least, and collective processing at best."
