"The first part of the inspiration for this jacket came to me in a dream. I remember the image of a woman lounging in front of a window with a portal-type thing outside. The overall feeling of the whole dream was very ethereal and quiet, so I tried to capture that in the painting. This piece took about three weeks and sort of painted itself; the more intricate details were all thought of in the moment and worked out perfectly. For the bugs and the books, I was heavily inspired by the song “The Bug Collector” by Haley Heyndrick; I listened to it while painting them." - Powerhouse Customs
